Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati (Assam)

Arrive at Guwahati Airport and receive airport assistance. Visit Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most revered Shakti Peethas, and Umananda Temple on Peacock Island. In the evening, enjoy a Brahmaputra River Cruise with scenic sunset views. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2

Guwahati → Shillong

Drive to Shillong through scenic hills, stopping at Umiam Lake for photos. Explore the Don Bosco Museum to learn about the culture of Northeast India, Ward’s Lake, and Police Bazaar for shopping and local cafés. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3

Cherrapunji Day Trip

Travel to Cherrapunji, famous for its waterfalls and caves. Visit Nohkalikai Falls (tallest plunge waterfall in India) and Seven Sisters Falls, followed by exploration of Mawsmai & Arwah Caves. Enjoy nature at Eco & Thangkharang Parks. Return to Shillong/Cherrapunji for overnight stay.

Day 4

Living Root Bridges Trek

Embark on a moderate trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, a natural marvel of Meghalaya. Optionally, continue trekking to Rainbow Falls for stunning scenic views. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji or Shillong.

Day 5

Mawlynnong & Dawki

Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, and climb the Sky View Tower for panoramic views of the Bangladesh plains. Proceed to Dawki for boating on the crystal-clear Umngot River. Return to Shillong or Guwahati for overnight stay.

Day 6

Departure

Spend your morning shopping for tea, handicrafts, or visiting local museums. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey, taking back memories of the scenic Northeast.
